Brittney K. Patikas-Moore
Attended Emerson School for the Visual & Performing Arts, during those years she studied with South Shore Dance Alliance (Larry Brewer), Homer Hans Bryant Multi-Cultural Dance Center, Deeply Rooted Dance Theatre, and was accepted to attend the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre Summer Intensive. After completion, she received a full ride to attend Indiana University Bloomington.

There she enrolled in the Contemporary Modern Dance Program. She was heavily involved in the African American Dance Ensemble under the direction of Iris Rosa. She has had the pleasure of working with guest artist that include, Roger Jeffrey, Hubbard Street, Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, Paul Taylor Dance Company, and Ron K. Brown Essence, A Dance Company. While being there, she often participated in community outreach programs through her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

After graduating from IU, she then went to study in Los Angeles and Dallas with the LA Contemporary Dance Company and Dallas Black Dance Theatre. She currently resides in Dallas, Texas where she is a Dance Educator in the Dallas Independent School District and Horton/Associate Artistic Director at the Terrance M. Johnson Dance Project. While also focusing on dance education, she is the Creative/Executive Assistant to Kevin 'Iega' Jeff, Deeply Rooted Dance Theater. She has had the wonderful opportunity of working with the Dallas Black Dance Theatre, Bandan Koro Drum and Dance Ensemble, Junior Players, and many other artist.

She recently received her Masters in Arts (Dance Education) from Texas Woman’s University (2020) and holds a certification in Horton technique from Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. Brittney is committed to educating inner city youths as well as lower-income areas. Her goal is to provide the same opportunities for those who want it but are unfortunate to receive.
